Windows 7 Tips and Tricks - How to Add a Video Link on the Start Menu
By default the Windows 7 Start menu includes links to the folders containing your pictures and music files, but not your video collection. If you are a video aficionado, you can tweak the operating system to include a direct link from the Start menu to your video files.
To add a link to your video files to the Windows 7 Start menu, just follow these steps.
Right-click the Start menu and choose Properties
Click the Start Menu tab and then Customize
Scroll to the bottom until you see the Videos section
Click the Display as a Link button and click OK
Click OK to exit and save your choices
The next time you click on the Start button, you will see a direct link to the folder where your video files are stored.
