How to Uninstall, Change or Repair a Program

Many people install programs on their computers, only to find that those programs do not perform as advertised or do not do what they should. When that happens, you can remove those unneeded programs to free up system resources and disk space.

You can also change programs to add more features or remove features you do not use. Computer users can also repair malfunctioning programs to prevent freezes, crashes, blue screens and other problems.

To uninstall, change or remove a program from your Windows 7 computer, simply follow these easy steps.

1. Click the Start button
2. Choose Control Panel from the list
3. Double-click the Programs icon
4. Choose Programs and Features
5. Highlight the program you want to uninstall or change
6. Click Uninstall to remove the program from your computer
7. Click the Repair or Change button to fix the program or add additional features
8. Enter the administrator password if prompted
